In my opinion this camera is one of the best (if not the best) prosumer class cameras. Camera controls are very easy to use and can in fact be used with just one hand if need be. What's interesting about the lx3 is that it has this switch that changes it's aspect ratio. It has a 4:3 (just like the olympus slrs), 3:2, and 16:9. What really impressed me about the camera is it's lens. It's a Leica vario-summicron lens with an aperture range of 2.0-2.8 (fully open across the zoom range) and a really wide focal length of 5.1-12.8mm (24mm-60mm equivalent). I've never seen a lens this wide on a point and shoot before and frankly it's really really good. Another thing about the lens is it's ability to focus up to almost 1cm away from the lens. Again, i've never seen a point and shoot do that.

In summary..
I like: Wide lens, one handed operation, macro feature
don't like: no screw for filter (lens prone to damage). basically that's it
